Historique :	L'origine anglaise des broderies est identifiable par l'iconographie et par la technique. Fabriquées en série dès la fin du 15e siècle, elles furent dispersées en Europe après la Réforme protestante en 1558. Oeuvre exécutée dans le même atelier que celle conservée dans le trésor de la cathédrale d'Amiens.
