La chapelle est réalisée par James Bouillé (1894-1945) pour labbé Perrot, fondateur du Bleun Brug. James Bouillé mena de front activité artistique et militantisme politique (il participa à la création du Parti autonomiste breton). Il tenta dexprimer ses convictions de militant à travers sa production artistique, en sattachant au renouveau de lexpression artistique bretonne. Il fut notamment le créateur, en 1927, de lAtelier breton dart chrétien. La chapelle est un exemple de la recherche dune création architecturale bretonne moderne. Elle est en outre, en raison de la personnalité de son commanditaire, un symbole dans lhistoire du mouvement nationaliste breton. Les sculptures sont dues à Jules-Charles Le Bozec et les vitraux à Job Gevel.Classement monument historique :
