Construit en 1933 pour le fils du photographe Joseph Villard, cet immeuble est l'une des uvres les plus achevées d'Olivier Mordrelle et la vitrine de sa conception architecturale. Fidèle en architecture à ses opinions politiques, l'architecte refusait de réduire la création contemporaine bretonne à un retour à l'architecture régionaliste et pittoresque. Il prônait une architecture bretonne intégrée aux courants contemporains. L'horizontalisme de la façade, souligné par les deux bandeaux de céramique bleue qui orne les parements, est tempéré par la présence d'éléments verticaux.Classement monument historique :
