ressérer les liens de solidarité et de camaraderie entre les membres actifs, retraités de la gendarmerie, mais aussi, ceux des personnels civils et militaires du corps de soutien ayant servi sous contrat dans la gendarmerie, y compris des réservistes ; lors du décès d'un membre actif, accorder un secours au conjoint ; remettre une plaque souvenir et en cas de crémation (plaque non transmise), ajouter au secours le montant de sa valeur pécunière ; les personnes pacsées bénéficient des droits ci-avant précisés ; quant à celles qui sont en situation de vie commune avérée, elles doivent, pour y prétendre, justifier d'une durée effective de deux ans ; accorder un secours financier exceptionnel à un adhérent, après examen du dossier par les membres du bureau de la société philantropique
