le but de l'ABHF est de créer un lien entre ses adhérents et de constituer un lieu (physique et virtuel) ou ceux-ci peuvent échanger leurs connaissances, informations, révélations relatives à leur passion commune du livre ancien ou moderne. Cet objet inclut la diffusion de ces connaissances auprès du public non averti; l'aide et l'assistance des bibliophiles adhérents pour la constitutions, l'amélioration ou la réalisation de leur collection. L'association des Bibliophiles des Hauts-de-France (ABHF) a également pour objet la promotion du livre ancien et moderne; la promotion d'auteurs, artistes, illustrateurs, relieurs, doreurs et restaurateurs. Cet objet inclut la production d’œuvre originales, destinées à ses adhérents; l'organisation ou la participation à des salons ou manifestations publiques; l'aide et l'assistance des professionnels du livres, en ce compris éditeurs et libraires
