regroupement de tous les éleveurs de bovins de race normande, adhérents au syndicat de contrôle laitier, et désireux d'assurer : amélioration de la race, promotion de la race, en accord avec l'UPRA ; information et assistance technique aux éleveurs pour la conduite de leur élevage ; aide aux adhérents pour la commercialisation de leurs reproducteurs ; information auprès des organismes de vulgarisation et d'enseignement, représentation de l'élevage normand auprès des organismes professionnels du département (EDE, SCL, CIA, Confédération des Eleveurs, DDA) et généralement l'accomplissement de toutes opérations pouvant se rattacher directement ou indirectement à l'objet essentiel ou susceptible d'en faciliter la réalisation ; encouragement à l'organisation de concours d'animaux de race normande dans le département et à la participation des adhérents à toutes manifestation d'élevage (départementale, régionale, nationale) pouvant contribuer au développement de la race normande
