être reconnue comme organisme de défense et de gestion (odg) pour la spécialité traditionnelle garantie (stg) "lait de foin" enregistré par la commission européenne, au sens de l'article l 642-17 du code rural et de la pêche maritime ; réaliser sur le territoire français et pour les opérateurs y exerçant une activité les missions suivantes ; participer aux actions de défense et de protection du nom, du produit, la valorisation du produit ainsi qu'à la connaissance statistique du secteur ; élaborer la stratégie de développement et de promotion de la stg "lait de foin" ; élaborer le cahier des charges de la stg, et procéder à toute modification qui s'imposerait ; choisir l'organisme chargé du contrôle du cahier des charges de la stg ; donner son avis sur le plan de contrôle ; contribuer à l'application du cahier des charges de la stg par les membres et participer à la mise en œuvre du plan de contrôle notamment en réalisant les contrôles internes qu'il prévoit auprès des opérateurs ; mettre en œuvre les décisions du comité national de l'inao qui la concernent ; communiquer à l'inao, sur sa demande, toute information collectée à l'occasion de l'exécution de ses missions ; tenir à jour la liste des opérateurs intervenant dans la production du lait de foin en france
